The trick to winning at low-stakes No Limit ring games is to keep the mindset of trapping your opponents and keeping them off balance. The level of play at $25NL and $50NL tables on PartyPoker is not too high, so if you have the following basic knowledge, you'll be way ahead of the game.
Your goal isn't to just make a couple of bucks, it's to spot players that are too loose/calling stations and bust them. Hand selection is crucial. You definitely want to be limping/calling small raises multiway with hands like QJs/KJs/JTs. In addition, whenever you can you also want to play a hand like 76s, 87s, 56s, against a modest raise. The reason being that even against pocket aces, a suited connector hand is over 30% so your implied odds are huge. Meaning that if a flop comes Q56, and you've called 56s against a raise, and you push all-in, no one at that level will be capable of laying down AA. Even better, what if he raises to $1, you call with 56s, and the flop comes T47. He might even check here, because he thinks his hand is invincible giving you a free card to catch a straight or even a flush. Even if he bets, he won't bet hard because he thinks his hand is too good, and he wants to extract as much money as possible from you. This gives you GREAT odds at drawing to straights and flushes with these hands.
Another important element is playing small pocket pairs, anything 88 and below. You WANT to call raises with these hands in most cases. The odds of flopping a set are 1/8. So if someone makes a big raise, say to $2 preflop, and you hold 44, you need to look at their stack. If they have more than $16 still in front of them, you should call this raise assuming that you can extract all their money. You are 7:1 to catch your set, but if you do, you'll get all $16, that's how you need to think about it.
Try slowplaying some dangerous hands (i.e. two pair with two suits on the board) and see if you start getting paid off by people missing. Bear in mind that other players on flush draws, for example, are still 2:1 underdogs to catch their flush which means that if they call you all the way down every time, you're going to win the pot 2 out of 3 times.
Keep in mind that low-stakes No Limit tables can have huge swings. But keep at it, and don't be afraid to lose money in the short-term. Having fear of every small loss is the surest way to tighten up. Even if you make a mistake, it can be a positive...people at your table may think you're a fish and try to push you around. This can work to your advantage.
